The Lodge

Ezulwini lodge has been personally managed for over 20 years by the owners, Josua and Corne van Straaten, family of one of the pioneers in the area.
The lodge is situated on 300ha of private game property. The sand-forests contribute to the variety of bird life around the lodge. The indigenous garden has a variety of vegetation including the Lala palm, which is used for basket weaving and the Marula tree which attracts monkeys.
The lodge offers for your relaxation a lounge area (with television), dining room, bar, sparkling pool and boma – where you can simply enjoy the sounds of nature around a blazing log fire.
Secure parking is available, and is suitable for large coaches.
The facilities are for the sole use of lodge guests and their visitors only.
Bedrooms are serviced twice daily.
Unfortunately credit cards are not accepted.
Accounts to be settled in advance or with cash on arrival.
Check-in time: Between 14:00 – 19:00 (kindly arrange for late check-ins)

Meals are a feast of traditional South African cuisine. Health-conscious guests or special dietary requirements are catered for.
A buffet breakfast offers a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, breads, eggs and bacon.
Light lunches are served on request.
Dinner is served buffet style, with a selection of salads, meat and fresh vegetables– locally sourced complemented with delectable desserts. Coffee and tea around the quiet intimacy of a campfire is the perfect conclusion to the day.
Meal times:
Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 09:00, Lunch on request between 12:00 and 14:00 and dinner between 19:00 and 21:00
The Bar
it's ok to WINE a little
The bar opens daily at 15:00. Our fully stocked bar includes traditional South African liqueurs, beers and a selection of wines.
